The Nigerian international’s performances for Napoli have earned him another Serie A nomination.
Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen earned another nomination for his display for Napoli in the Italian Serie A last month. Osimhen has been in brilliant form since last month, scoring in almost every game.
The Nigerian has been unstoppable in front of goal since the beginning of last month. Osimhen scored five goals in three Serie A games for Napoli in October, including a hat-trick in the 4-0 win over Sassuolo.
Osimhen earns Serie A nomination
He continued in the same vein this month, scoring two goals and registering the same number of assists in four league games. Osimhen’s impressive display has now earned him a nomination for Serie A player for the month of November.
The Super Eagles star is one of the five players nominated for their impressive displays in November. Amongst the players Osimhen is competing against is former PSG star Moise Kean, who scored two goals for Juventus this month.
Osimhen’s numbers this season
Other players nominated alongside Osimhen include Federico Di Marco, Piotr Zielinski, and Giacomo Bonaventura. It is Osimhen’s second consecutive Serie A player of the month nomination, having earned a nomination in October.
The former Lille man will hope for a better outcome this time after losing to Rafael Leao last time. It has been a fantastic season so far for Osimhen, with the Nigerian currently on course for his best season yet.
Osimhen leads the Serie A top scorer’s chart with nine goals from ten games and another goal in three Champions League matches.
