The President of Senegal has confirmed that Sadio Mane will not be at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
President Sall has wished the Teranga Lions’ ‘lionheart’ a speedy recovery following his injury on Tuesday night.

Mane is set to miss the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar this winter after he limped off against Werder Bremen at the Allianz Arena.
Reacting to the report that the 30-year-old has been ruled out of the football fiesta, the President sent his best wishes to the 2021 AFCON hero.

“Sadio, I wish you a speedy recovery from your injury in the Bayern-Werder Bremen game,” the President said on a tweet on his social media account.
“As I told you: Sadio, Lionheart! With all my heart with you! God bless you,” he added.
