2027: Babatunde Ogunola Joins Ogun West Senatorial Race

A former member of the House of Representatives, for Ado-Odo/Ota Federal constituency in Ogun State, Hon. Babatunde Ogunola, has declared his intention to contest the Ogun West Senatorial seat in the 2027 general elections.

Ogunola, popularly known as Tomo, is a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and served as Chairman of the party’s Presidential Campaign Council in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area during the last general elections.

While speaking to journalists on his Ogun-West senatorial ambition, Ogunola revealed his commitment to grassroots development, quality representation, and people-oriented governance.

He pledged to prioritize key areas such as improved infrastructure, youth empowerment, job creation, education, and enhanced security across Ogun West if elected.

The former Lawmaker also assured constituents that he would facilitate federal presence in the district through strategic projects, attract investments, and sponsor bills that would directly impact the socio-economic development of the people.

Ogunola also reaffirmed his support for the administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun, stressing the need for continuity in governance and sustained development across Ogun State.

Urging constituents to rally behind his ambition, the former lawmaker called for unity and collective support, noting that the task of building a prosperous Ogun West requires the cooperation of all stakeholders.

According to him “I am committed to serving the people with integrity and dedication. With your support, we can achieve greater development and give Ogun West the representation it truly deserves.”
