A leading aspirant for the Ogun State House of Assembly, Odogbolu State Constituency, Hajji Moshood Adetayo Abubakar (Langbodo), has felicitated with Muslims faithful in Ogun State and across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

The Assembly aspirant also specifically extended the greetings to the good people of his constituency in the Odogbolu Local Government Area of the state.

Hon. Daytayo made this known in his goodwill message made available to journalists on Friday.

He equally congratulated the Muslim Ummah for the discipline, sacrifice, and devotion demonstrated throughout Ramadan.

Hon. Daytayo described Eid-el-Fitr as a moment of celebration, gratitude, and renewed commitment to the values of peace, love, and unity, which are central to the teachings of Islam.

He noted that the lessons of Ramadan selflessness, patience, and compassion for the less privileged should not end with the fasting period but be sustained in daily living for the betterment of society.

His words “Eid is not only a time of celebration but also a reminder of our shared responsibility to care for one another, promote harmony, and contribute meaningfully to the growth of our communities.”

He also called on residents of Odogbolu Local Government and Ogun State at large to continue fostering peaceful coexistence, irrespective of religious or political differences.

Reaffirming his commitment to grassroots development, Hon. Daytayo revealed that his vision for Odogbolu State Constituency remains centered on youth empowerment, educational advancement, and improved welfare for all.

He, therefore, wished all Muslims a joyous, peaceful, and fulfilling Eid-el-Fitr celebration while urging Nigerians to sustain the spirit of unity and compassion beyond the festive period.
