Gbenga Akinwande Coalition Endorses Solomon Olamilekan Adeola for 2027 Ogun Governorship Race

A social political group, Gbenga Akinwande Coalition Group for Yayi Project 2027, has thrown its weight behind the gubernatorial ambition of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Yayi ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The group, owned by a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yewa North Local Government, Engr. Gbenga Akinwande, declared that Senator Yayi remains the most credible and capable aspirant to lead Ogun State to greater heights.

Engr. Akinwande, who contested the 2024 council poll for Yewa North Local Government, said the decision to openly back the senator was borne out of his consistent performance, accessibility and commitment to grassroots development.
His words, “Senator Yayi has proven beyond doubt that he is a leader who understands governance and the needs of the people.

“His achievements in infrastructure, youth empowerment, education support, and community development are visible for all to see”.
He added that the coalition was formed to mobilise support across wards and local governments, ensuring that party members and the general public are well informed about Yayi’s leadership qualities and legislative accomplishments.
Engr. Akinwande said what Ogun State needs at this time is a visionary and experienced leader with the political will to deliver, saying that Senator Yayi has the competence, exposure, and network to attract development and reposition Ogun state for sustainable growth”.
The APC chieftain also urged party stakeholders to remain united and committed to the party’s success, stressing that collective effort would guarantee victory in 2027.
He therefore expressed optimism that with widespread grassroots support, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Yayi would emerge victorious and usher in a new era of inclusive governance and accelerated development in Ogun State.
